Drawing Power by Mary Beth Carolan and Robert Reese
An interactive sculpture that transformed through two stages of energy. The first
stage, a high energy dance performance lit with high powered industrial lights that
draw power from the grid. As night fell, solar powered lights kicked in, drawing power only
from the storage provided by the sun that day. The sculpture transformed into a quieter experience
as dancers (Tzarinas of the Plane) lured audience members in to gaze at the solar light show.
